The Deseret News released their All-State list for the 2023 girl’s soccer and the Carbon Lady Dinos had three players earn second-team honors. The Deseret News all-state teams are based on the coach’s votes from a list of nominated players from each team.

The top player in 3A went to Nevaeh Peregrina of Ogden who ended the season recording 28 goals and 18 assists in her 2023 campaign.

Amiah Timothy, a senior, scored 22 goals for the Lady Dinos to go along with 11 assists.

Sophomore Emma Bowman earned a second-team nod for her work on the defensive side of the field.

Goalie Fortune Ward, a senior, had a tremendous season between the pipes for Carbon averaging 9.1 saves per match to go along with her 0.333 goals-against average. She also earned eight shut-outs
