Three members of the Lady Dino volleyball squad earned All-State honors when the list was revealed on Tuesday. Seniors Madi Orth, Taylor Secor and Adri Abeyta were named to the list of the best players in 3A. The Deseret News all-state teams are based on coaches votes from a list of nominated players from each team.

Carbon finished the season with a 21-8 record overall posting an 8-5 mark in Region 12 play. The Lady Dinos fell to Union in the quarterfinals droping into the quarterfinal loss bracket where they defeated Richfield and Delta to end the tournament in fifth.

Orth, earned her first team nod by posting 426 kills to go along with 336 digs, 41 aces, and 54 blocks.

Secor, had 289 kills, 276 digs, 37 aces, 34 blocks, enough to earn her a third team mention. and Adri Abeyta received an Honorable Mention for her 151 kills, 65 blocks, and 35 digs.
