The Carbon Wrestling squads traveled to Duchesne on Wednesday as both the boy’s and girl’s made the trip to compete. Both teams would do well but came up just short with the boy’s team falling by a score of 39-36, and the girls falling 21-18.

The Lady Dinos grabbed wins in three different weight classes Codi Shaw won by pin at the 110 weight class. Haleigh Malmgren pinned her opponent in the 130 class, and Mayah Gonzalez earned a pin at the 155 class.

For the boys Curtis Allen scored a win by pin in the 138 class, Adrian Vasquez won by pin in the 144 class. Jace Barlow, Cole Hinkley, and JJ Ruden each won by forfeit in the 157, 175, and 215 classes respectively, and Cole Fausett pinned his opponent at 190 pounds.

Both teams will travel to Panguitch this weekend for a two day tournament.
