The Emery Spartan wrestling team traveled up north to Salem, to take part in the Skyhawk Invitational. Over 32 teams took part in the event, with the Spartans finishing in 11th place.
Spanish Fork earned the top spot scoring 727.5 points, followed by South Summit with 506. Beaver, Riverton, and Timpanogos rounded out the top five, Emery scored 259.5.
Boden Christman and Mason Stewart both went 5-1 on the weekend and right behind them three other Spartans each logged four wins with Ryan Collard and Ty Christiansen both ending with a 4-3 record and Monty Christiansen going 4-1.
Another weekend and another two-day tournament with the Juab Winter Classic coming up this weekend on Friday and Saturday.
