The Desert Wave Pool is excited to be hosting a Christmas movie on the bubble on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6:00 pm. Everyone in the community is invited to attend this family friendly event. Aquatics Director, Tamara Gray was eager to share all the event details with Castle Country Radio listeners.

“We’re going to show The Grinch, the animated version, the most recent one that was released, so we’ll show that on the bubble at 6:00 pm, on Saturday, Dec. 16. So bring the kiddos out, we’ll turn off the waves, you can float in the pool, and watch a Christmas movie on the bubble,” said Gray. Don’t forget that the concession stand will be open so you can enjoy a delicious snack during the movie. Please keep in mind that regular admission rates will apply.

The Desert Wave Pool will be offering holiday hours during the school’s Christmas Break beginning Dec. 22. “School’s out on the Dec. 22, so we will be open from noon to 8:00 pm, that’s Friday. Then Saturday we’ll be open from noon till 8:00 pm. We will be closed on Christmas Eve, which is a Sunday, which we’re closed on Sundays now anyway. Christmas day we’ll be closed but then Dec. 26 through Dec. 30 we’ll be open from noon to 8:00 pm,” explained Gray. Then to kick off the new year you can go visit from Jan. 1 through Jan. 6 from noon to 8:00 pm.

Six-month to year passes for families – if you’re not sure what to get a family. Or for that child that you want to have some swim lessons – you can come in and buy a gift certificate for swim lessons,” said Gray. They will customize any certificate that you need just stop by the Desert Wave Pool at 240 East 500 North to purchase any gift certificates.
