Our loving sister, aunt and longtime friend, Toni “Rusty” Jouflas, age 77, passed away on January 12, 2024 in Price.
She was born May 20, 1946 in Price, Utah to James “Jim” Luke and Sophia Spadafore Jouflas.
Rusty was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Notre Dame High School Class of 1964. She later attended Carbon College where she obtained her cosmetology degree. Rusty worked as a beautician for over forty years in her home. She truly enjoyed the serenity of her home, especially caring for her clients and tending to her flowers in the summertime. Everyone loved Rusty, and her personality could brighten anyone’s day. She was the ray of sunshine that brought everyone comfort, hope, and the assurance that everything was going to be okay.
Rusty was always lending a hand to others, and she especially enjoyed volunteering at the Greek Festival. She had many pasttimes; however, her favorite was visiting with family and friends on the phone and having coffee with anyone who would stop by.
Survived by her twin sister, Paula Robertson, Spring Glen; sister, Maria Matthews, Price; nieces and nephews, Chris Matthews, Price; Jaci (Guy) Adams, Spring Glen; Toni Matthews, Salt Lake City; Michael (Carrie) Robertson, Spring Glen; four great-nieces and nephews, Nick Adams, A.J. (Lacie) Adams, Abby and Ally Robertson.
Preceded in death by parents, special aunt and uncle, Frank and Angie DeAngelis; and brother-in-law, Jack Robertson.
