The Carbon Dino wrestling squad welcomed Delta to Price on Wednesday night for the final home match of the regular season. The Dinos logged seven wins in the matches but the Rabbits earned the 48-24 win.

Carbon is close to the end of the regular season with just one match left before the Divisionals take place at Emery High School, on February 2 & 3.

Trevor Jones won his match at 120 pounds by decision. Trace Crespin earned a win by major decision in the 126-pound class. Eleke Lang took a win by technical fall at 157 pounds, and Johnathan Jewkes at 165 pounds won his match by decision. Gavin Fausett took the victory at 175 pounds by decision as did JJ Ruden at 190.

The season is coming to a close as divisional matches will take place next weekend, on Friday and Saturday. They will then prepare for the State Tournament that will take place on February 16 & 17 in Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center.

Carbon heads back to the mat on Thursday night on the road in Orem.
