Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, MaeVonne Eastman Adams, age 81, passed away February 18, 2024 at her home.

She was born on October 10, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Felix and Mary Coggins Aimone.  At the age of two, her parents divorced and her mom married Arvel Eastman and her father married Mary Condas.  On her mother’s side, she had a sister, Mary Ellen and brothers, Bud and Russ.  On her father’s side, she had four brothers, Kenny, Larry, Rudy and Pete.

In 1960, she graduated from Evanston High School and later married Morgan Moon.  They had two children, Lance and Cindy prior to their divorce.  On January 31, 1976, she married Marvin Adams and they were blessed with two more children, Jaymee and Nikole; adding to Marvin’s four children from a previous marriage, Boyd, Julie, Tammy and Rita.  After 39 years together, Marvin passed away on November 18, 2012.

MaeVonne was a tireless worker who began working as a lifeguard at the Evanston swimming pool during high school.  She later went on to work at the Wyoming State Hospital as a counselor’s aide for vocational rehab.  While residing in Carbon County, she worked at Koret of California in Price until they closed the doors.  After the closing of Koret’s, she attended college and graduated from The College of Eastern Utah.  MaeVonne went to work at IFA in Price as the manager of the animal health department.  MaeVonne was loved and respected by all at IFA, and she always said that, “My Ol’ Fart Farmers” made it one of the best jobs that she’s ever had.  After her retirement, she continued to work a few days a week at Market Express.

MaeVonne loved her kids, and she said that it was even better when the grandkids came along; Zephan, Morgan, Scoti, Cali, Shania, Maegen, Haylee and Kelton.  They made her life complete; or she thought so, until the great-grandkids started to arrive.  She was a great-grandma to Shaelee, Maelee, Brooks, Benny, Banks, Brogun, Eva, Elaina and Ronin Ratcliffe.

MaeVonne is survived by her children, Lance (Jackie) Moon, Cindy (Christian) Johnson, Jaymee (Gopher) Kiahtipes, and Nikole Adams; siblings, Bud Eastman, Russ Eastman, Larry Aimone, Rudy Aimone, and Pete Aimone; as well as many other family members and a community of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin; brother, Kenny and sister, Ellen.
