
The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is preparing for their upcoming March Luncheon on Mar. 21 and are looking for sponsors for the annual Casino Night on May 3. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details.
The March Luncheon will take place on Thursday, Mar. 21 at noon inside the new SERDA Building located at 252 South Fairgrounds Road. There will be a Business and Community Spotlight introduced during the luncheon, as well as Guest Speakers, as Haeck explains, “So there’s two Business Spotlights in March – Komatsu and General Distributing Company, and the Community Spotlight is the Masonic Temple. So this time at the luncheon is Shanny Wilson from Economic Development and Tourism, and Tina Grange the Tourism Specialist,” The lunch will be catered by Becky Driggs with the cost to attend the luncheon is $18.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. RSVP by Friday, Mar. 15 by contacting the Chamber office.
The date has been set and the Chamber will host their annual Casino Night on May 3 at the Carbon County Event Center. Currently the chamber is looking for Event Sponsors as Haeck explains, “We’re looking for sponsors right now for the event, there’s three different sponsorship levels. You can donate a prize, is the prize is valued at more than $100.00 that donation will come with one ticket to the event. You can be a Gaming Sponsor, a Gaming Sponsor you’ll receive two tickets to the event and your company name and logo will be listed at one of the tables at the event. Or you can be a High Roller Sponsor, a High Roller Sponsor you’ll receive four tickets to the event, your company name and logo on all printed material, your company name and logo on a table at the event and also sponsor recognition at the event.” Sponsorship deadline for printing is April 24.
