The Dino boy’s soccer squad earned their second win of the young season on the road in Nephi over the Juab Wasps. Carbon used three goals in the first half to take the win 5-1.

Carbon has now enjoyed back-to-back Region 12 wins after opening the season with a 4-1  victory over North Sanpete.

The game with the Wasps was all about the Dinos, as they would go on the offensive putting up three goals in the first half while allowing Juab one, as Carbon took a 3-1 lead into halftime.

The second half was a near copy of the first with Carbon finding the back of the net two more times closing out Juab to take the 5-1 win.

Logan McEvoy added two goals and an assist in the win. Case Griffeth had one goal and a pair of assists. Tyler Morris and Connor Cunningham had one goal each, and Luke Brady had an assist.

Carbon will welcome Delta to Price on Friday for another region contest.
