The Dino soccer squad was sitting at an unbeaten 4-0 mark headed into their meeting with the 6-0 Manti Templars, meaning something had to give when the pair met up in Price on Friday. The Templars had Carbon’s number holding them scoreless and finding the back of the net four times to take the 4-0 win to join Canyon View as the only two teams without a loss in Region 12.

Carbon is sitting at 4-1 overall and in region play, as we get ready to head into the second month of the season.

Manti came out in the first half putting one goal on the board and taking a 1-0 lead to halftime.

In the second half, the Templars found the gaps in the Dino defense putting three more goals on the board and shutting out Carbon to take the 4-0 win.

Carbon has a pair of games on the schedule for the week as they will welcome Emery to Price on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4:00p.m..

The Dinos close out the week on the road in Cedar City to face Canyon View on Friday.
