Dorothy Marie Cowin Crandall, age 73, passed away in Price, Utah on April 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born in what we lovingly call “old” Park City, UT to Norma and Robert Cowin on July 19, 1950. Dorothy loved to be outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and everything in between. She loved her family fiercely.

She met her husband Roger when they were just kids, and they celebrated 51 years marriage together. Dorothy loved to laugh and had a wild sense of humor. There were many hours spent laughing, joking, and just being together. Dorothy was an avid bowler and had quite the collection of trophies to show for it. She loved to create and this was evident in her artwork and poetry.

Dorothy loved and enjoyed her husband, family and friends and was surrounded by them at home at the time of her passing. She has fought a difficult battle with dementia and now the battle has ended.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Roger; brother, Marty; sons, Tony, Roger, John; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky; brother, Bobby; and her second-born son, Jeff.

There will be no funeral service held at this time. Dorothy and Roger have chosen to be cremated, and have their ashes rejoined at a later date. There will however, be a Celebration of Life event to be held in Dorothy’s honor which will be announced at a later date. We would hope to see all family and friends who are able to attend at that time. We look forward to sharing some laughs and special memories of our time with Dorothy. God Bless.
