Henry Andrew Skerl, age 93, passed away peacefully at Good Life Senior Living & Memory Care of Price on April 19, 2024.
He was born February 3, 1931 in Mohrland, Utah to Joseph and Mary Feichko Skerl. While serving in the United States Air Force in England, Henry met Pamela Rose Joyce Eden, and the two were wed January 15, 1955. Pamela preceded Henry in death on March 21, 1971. Henry then married Deloris Westfahl on March 25, 1972. Deloris would precede Henry in death on May 11, 2010.
Henry loved to flyfish in White River, back in the day when one could walk the river and not touch private land. The only things he loved more than that were his trips to Mesquite and Wendover to gamble. He leaves behind many loved ones and a community of friends.
He is survived by his sons, Andrew, Price, Utah, Perry, Frisco, Texas, and Joe (Michelle) Skerl, Crawford, Colorado; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Henry is preceded in death by his two wives, Pamela and Deloris; parents, Joseph and Mary; sister, Louise (Red) Dimick; brother, Joseph Skerl; step-daughter, Alma Olsen; and step-son, Al Westfahl.
The family would like to extend its special thanks to Andy, Megan, and staff at Good Life for their compassionate care of Henry in his final days.
