
JoAnne Anderson Davis Cocciolo Latu, age 69, passed away April 20, 2024 in Price.
She was born January 26, 1955 in Price, Utah to DeLoy R. and Betty Lou Earney Anderson. JoAnne married her high school friend Scott Davis in Long Beach, California; they later divorced. Married Albert Cocciolo in California; he preceded her in death on January 4, 2011. Married the love of her life, Lomio V. Latu on August 21, 2017 in Wellington, Utah where she welcomed Lomio’s seven children and his extended family as her own.
JoAnne was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. JoAnne began her young career as a CNA and later followed her passion for the love of animals, which took her into the grooming business. JoAnne became very proficient at it, and the animals and their owners all loved her. At times, JoAnne was referred to as the “Pet Whisperer”. She also had a love of house plants and her green thumb made her home look like a beautiful green forest. She was always very crafty and started expressing her art by making beautiful greeting cards to share with others. She also painted and drew portraits.
JoAnne had a warm heart and was a very kind and giving person who was loved by all.
JoAnne is survived by her husband, Lomio V. Latu; children, Ana Latu, Laulile Latu, Unaloto V. Latu, Lisa A. Latu, Fine Latu, Pita Latu, and Haniteli Pahulu; her mother, Betty Anderson, Wellington; three sisters, Carolyn (Barney) Zauss, Wellington, Terry (Gene) Wood, Price, Sherry (Kent) Bean, Wellington; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her father, DeLoy Anderson; and a husband, Alberto Cocciolo.
Funeral service, Monday, April 29, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Wellington First Ward Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Wellington City Cemetery.
