Carbon Soccer hosted the Canyon View Falcons on Tuesday in its final game of the regular season. The Dinos jumped out early and held the Falcons in check all game taking the 2-0 win.

Carbon ended the regular season with a 12-2 record overall and in Region 12 play, they also landed in the No. 4 spot in the final RPI, released on Wednesday.

The Dinos jumped out early in the first half putting up two goals in the back of the net and carrying the 2-0 lead into halftime. Going into the second half, the Dinos defense continued its dominance, and with Cannon Mortenson between the pipes, held on for the win.

Logan McEvoy and Luke Brady each scored a goal for Carbon. Tayger Timothy and Tyler Morris each earned an assist in the win. Mortenson posted a shutout in the contest, logging 4.5 this season.

With the final RPI coming out Wednesday, Carbon found out they will face Union on May 1 in Price.
