
Kimberly Ann Miller passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2024 at the age of 68. Kim was a loving mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She touched the hearts of all those that crossed her path.
Kim was born June 27, 1955 in Price, Utah to John and Emma Cherie Nyman Beacco.
Kim cared deeply for her family, friends, and her two cats, Mikala and Angelica. She made many friends during her life; some even considered her a surrogate mother. Kim made it a priority to bring her friends and family together. She hosted a yearly BBQ where she had the opportunity to show her love for her beautiful yard, pink flamingos, and socializing. Kim was passionate about helping people. She was a longtime resident of Price and a graduate of Carbon High School. Kim graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Sociology Social Work in 1977, and later worked as a case worker and victim advocate.
Kim married Michael James Nelson in Price, Utah on September 16, 1977 and they raised two children together; they later divorced.
Kim is survived by her two children, Nicole Cherie Nelson (Derrick Stevenson) and Michael John (Samantha) Nelson; one brother, Fritz (Connie) Beacco; step-brothers and sister, Henry (Susan) Etzel, Frankie (Victor) Sacco, Bobby (Annette) Etzel; step-mother, Carrol Beacco, step-brothers and sisters, Bill Peirce, Kathy Childs, Cindy (Dave) Halverson, Bobby (Lisa) Peirce, Connie Julian, Carolyn (Frank) Sanderson, Cherie Peirce, and the late Barry Peirce; along with her grandchildren, Jocelyn Nicole Parker, Colin and Jaden Nelson.
Preceded in death by her father, John Beacco; her mother, Cherie Etzel; and step-father, Robert Etzel.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Joni Westbrook and Debbie Forrester for the loving care rendered to Kim over the years.
A service to celebrate Kim’s life will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St. Price, UT) on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 am where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are always welcome daily and may share memories of Kim online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
