The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and Associated Food Stores Inc. gathered the Carbon community on Monday, May 20, for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for ACE Hardware.

Greg Welling, the vice president of retail operations for Associated Food Stores, conducted the ceremony and was the first speaker. “We had this opportunity and we’ve been looking forward to it for a long time … We’re proud of what we put together.” Welling stated,” This store opened seven weeks faster than a traditional construction schedule would allow, and so we’d like to congratulate our workers on accomplishing that.”

Brendon Noble took the podium next. Noble, who serves as the associated foods ACE Hardware Manager, spoke about the store’s goal”: We want to put a perfect store together. We know that’s not the case as much as we strive for it, but this community will help us with this goal and make us a lot better as we take care of their needs.”

Following Noble, Regional Director of Lin’s Market Steve Holm spoke to the crowd.” We want the community to know that this is the largest ACE Hardware and the first ACE Hardware under the Lin’s banner,” Holm said regarding the excitement of the store’s opening.

ACE Hardware is located at 720 W Price River Dr in Price and is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
