Laura LaVee Olsen, age 68, passed away on May 23, 2024 at her home in St. George, Utah.

She was born on December 3, 1955 in Price, UT to parents Leland and Rose Olsen. She had 4 siblings – Merle Swanson, Chuck Olsen, Lorraine Olsen and Kenneth Olsen.

Laura married Jeff Swan in August 1977 and had 2 children – Scott (1980) and Aaron (1981). Laura and her family lived in Cheney, WA, Anchorage, AK and La Junta, CO.  They divorced in 1997.  After Aaron’s high school graduation in 2000, she moved back to Utah to be closer to family.

Laura loved doing crafts, especially making cards for her kids and grandchildren, as well as others. Whether it be for birthdays, Christmas, or just a “thinking of you” card, she made every card special and made them with love. It was her way of showing how much she cared for you and they were well received by all.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Rose Olsen; and her brothers, Charles and Kenneth Olsen; and sister, Merle Swanson. She is survived by her two sons, Scott and Aaron Swan; her sister, Lorraine Olsen; and her 5 grandchildren – Madilyn, Avery, Jordan, Blakely and Addisyn Swan.

Graveside service, Friday, May 31, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at the Price City Cemetery (595 East 400 North). Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are always welcome daily and may share memories of Laura online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
