
Darlene Walton Pennington, age 76, passed away May 15, 2024 at her home in Price after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 20, 1948 in Salt Lake City at St. Mark’s Hospital to Darwin LaVerl Walton and Jane Clotiel Losee Walton Hunter.
Married Kelly Gene Pennington September 9, 1984 in Reno, Nevada. They had no children, but Darlene helped raise Ray Ring, Kelly’s brother that always thought of Darlene as his mother and still does.
She liked going around with friends collecting aluminum cans and scrap metal. Darlene went back to school and got her GED and worked as a manager at Commercial Testing Length and Assistant Manager at Utah Housing Authority, then Koret of California. She retired and lived at Utah Housing until she passed.
Survived by her brother’s, Jim Curtis, Spanish Fork; John Walton, Ogden; ex-husband, Kelly Pennington, Price.
Preceded in death by parents; sister’s, Donna and Diane.
Memorial service Friday, June 7, 2024, 1:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main, Price. Family will be at Mitchell’s one half hour prior to services.
