Price City’s International Days celebration is scheduled for July 24-27, apart from the carnival. vendor booths, musical performances, and of course the parade, plenty of sporting events are planned for citizens to get out and get active.

The first event is on July 25 with the annual 5k run. Check-in and registration will begin at 7:30 at the pavilion in the parking lot of the LDS church across from Washington Park, with the race starting at 8:00 p.m.. You can register now by going to carbonrec.com. Early registrants will receive a t-shirt. The cost is $20 per person with a discount applied to groups of three or more. You can also call the recreation office at (435) 636-3702.

Up next on July 26 is the cornhole tournament, also put on by Carbon Recreation. Cornhole will begin at 7 p.m., but you will need to be there at 6 p.m. to check-in. You can register at carbonrec.com or by calling the recreation office at (435) 636-3702. The fee is $50 and the tournament is limited to 32 teams. 

On Saturday, July 27, things will get started early with the golf tournament which is full. Also happening is the Disc Golf Tournament put on by USU Eastern, for more information on the Disc Golf Tournament you can reach out to Cameron West at cameron.west@usu.edu or call (435) 636-5468. Also on Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. is the pickleball tournament, interested parties should reach out to Jill Oakley by email at racquetballme@gmail.com.
