Price City’s International Days celebration is scheduled for July 24-27, apart from the carnival. vendor booths, musical performances, and of course the parade, plenty of sporting events are planned for citizens to get out and get active.

The first event is on July 25 with the annual 5k run. Check-in and registration will begin at 7:30 at the pavilion in the parking lot of the LDS church across from Washington Park, with the race starting at 8:00 p.m.. You can register now by going to carbonrec.com. Early registrants will receive a t-shirt. The cost is $20 per person with a discount applied to groups of three or more. Up next on July 26 is the cornhole tournament, also put on by Carbon Recreation. Cornhole will begin at 7 p.m., but you will need to be there at 6 p.m. to check-in. You can register at carbonrec.com or by calling the recreation office at (435) 636-3702. The fee is $50 and the tournament is limited to 32 teams. 

On Saturday, July 27, things will get started early with the golf tournament which is full.
