Carbon and Emery High School have each had one student-athlete given All-State Honors for their performance during the 2024 season, it was announced by the PGA Utah Section.

Carley West, a junior, earned second-team honors for her efforts on the course this season. Leading the way for most of the year for the Lady Dinos, West earned a 15th-place individual finish as she shot an 87 and 89, ending with a two-day total of 176. West was just six strokes back of a top-ten individual finish. This is West’s second honor, as she earned an Honorable Mention last season.

For the Lady Spartans, Cheyenne Bingham received an Honorable Mention for her performance this season. Bingham, a junior in 2024, also finished 31st overall, helping Emery earn their share of a tie for eighth place. This is her first honor.

The Professional Golfers Association of America Utah Section selects the top 30 golfers in each classification to the All-State Teams. The selections are based purely on performance on the course, placing the top 10 on the First Team, the next 10 on the Second Team, and the final 10 on the Honorable Mention list.
