Genesis Pregnancy Center, formally known as the Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center, celebrated its new branding on Monday, June 10, through a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.

According to their mission statement, the purpose of Genesis Pregnancy Center is to,” Enable women and men facing pregnancy decisions to choose life, parent well and heal from associated loss, while demonstrating Jesus’ love.”

This mission is accomplished through a variety of services, including free pregnancy tests and options counseling. The center also hosts several parenting classes for new parents, with topics ranging from conception up to the toddler years. By attending these classes, parents can earn “baby bucks,” which can be used in a store within the center to purchase new or lightly used items such as diapers, wipes, bouncers, strollers and car seats.

Coming up soon for the center is a bingo night, hosted at the Notre Dame Hope Center located at 185 North Carbon Ave in Price, Utah on Saturday, June 22 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
