Helper Vibes is getting ready to celebrate Pride Month on Saturday, June 22, starting at 5 p.m. in Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio had the chance to sit down with Joelle Amaya and Scott Bennett to discuss the upcoming event as well as Castle Gate RV Park, located just a half mile away from where the event is being held.

First, we talked about the theme for the event, with Amaya explaining,” Our theme is pride, so we’re getting ready to celebrate love, equality and diversity.”

After explaining the theme, we talked about some of the attractions for this event.” Our opening band starts at 5 p.m. We have a locally based band performing called Welfare Check, and then our closing band is Super Bent.”

Amaya also spoke on some of the activities and attractions at the festival,” We’re going to have some cool margaritas called “RainBobaritas,” which are margaritas with boba. We’ll also have some kid’s activities like making rainbow wands and some inflatable bouncy houses.”

Next, we talked to Bennett about Castle Gate RV Park,” We’re the campground that’s about half a mile south of Main Street. So you can walk to Helper Vibes from our campground.” Bennett explained.

To close out the interview, all Amaya wanted to share was,” I hope everyone comes out and celebrates on June 22 with us.”
