Ryan Theodore Larsen, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2024.
Ryan was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 20, 1984 to Robert Dean and Robin Camille Curtis Larsen.
Ryan loved being outdoors, especially by the ocean. He most recently lived in Monterey, California where he loved spending time on the beach every day. He loved animals and plants and all things in nature. His apartment in Monterey was filled with plants, which spoke to type of person he was. His love of plants aided him in his employment at Andronico’s Market in Monterey, where he ran the floral department. Ryan was extremely creative and loved decorating homes.
Spurring his love for travel, Ryan spent a full year in Australia, a place he grew to enjoy so much. But mostly, he loved his family and friends and spending as much time as he could with them. He will be missed greatly by them and by a community of friends.
Ryan is survived by his loving mother, Robin Larsen, Price, Utah; brothers, Chris (Sokha) Larsen, West Jordan, Utah, Travis (Stella) Larsen, Elk Ridge, Utah, Tyler Larsen, Henderson, Nevada; sister, Lisa (Don) Siegmeier, American Fork, Utah; and many loving nieces and nephews and other dear family members.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Larsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a humane society or another charity of your choice in Ryan’s honor.
