The summer months are a time for recovery and getting prepared for the next school year, unless you’re part of an athletic team then its time for practices and camps. Coming up on July 15 & 16 the Carbon High School girl’s basketball team will be hosting a skills camp for two different age groups 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th.

This year when the Lady Dinos take the court they will be led by new head coach Jordan Blanc. Coach Blanc waas recently a guest on KOAL’s Drive Time Sports to talk about the upcoming skills camp.

“July 15 & 16 any girls in the area we would love to have them, it’s grades 3-8. We’ll divide it up,  3-5 graders are 8-10 a.m., and then our 6-8 graders will be 12:30-2:30. This is just a great oppurtunity to not only meet the coaching staff, see how we coach, see how we run things, but also to see the girls. The Girls are going to help run this camp and be a part of it.”
