Doris Lorene Zufelt Randolph, returned to her heavenly home on June 24, 2024. Doris was born on April 25, 1932 in Kirtland, New Mexico to her parents, Joseph and Martha Rothlisberger Zufelt. She married the love of her life, Lebert Randolph on November 20, 1950 in Aztec, New Mexico. They raised four beautiful children and were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 9, 1960.

At around four years’ age, she became very ill and the doctors could not figure out what was wrong. She spent many months in the hospital and finally they sent her home and told her mom that she probably would not live past six years’ age. With their faith in the power of prayer and blessings, she surprised them all and lived to the age of 92.

Doris was a loving, kind, serving individual, loving her family and friends unconditionally. She lived a simple life never complaining, caring for her family, and serving those in need. She was the sole provider and caretaker when the love of her life became ill and unable to work until he returned to his Heavenly Father in 1991.

She worked various jobs throughout her life, settling in as a bank teller at the bank in Green River, Utah for 20 plus years, making many forever friends. After retiring, she took a little job for Greg and Rita Vetere at their melon stand where their girls adopted her as “grandma” and making her apart of their lives. She loved the blast from the past when her old friends would travel through Green River to purchase those famous melons.

She served in many different capacities for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which she loved with all of her heart; some of which were teaching primary, chorister, gospel doctrine teacher for 20 plus years, president of the relief society, visiting teacher, and much more. However, the most important thing to Doris that she looked forward to doing was going to the temple as often as she could. She loved her God and her family.

She loved life and adventures with her family and friends which included going on many trips in the surrounding areas along with going to England, Alaska, and Nauvoo to name just a few.

She is survived by her sister, Velma Goode; her four children, Karen (Austin) Lund, Sharon (Chuck) Allridge, Kathy (Randy) Ryan, and Mike (Fran) Randolph; nine grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; plus, many segregate grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Lebert Randolph; her parents, Joseph and Martha Rothlisberger Zufelt; her step-father, Leo John; two brothers, Marion and Lynn Zufelt; one sister, Ardith Zufelt Shumway; and two grandsons, Mark Lund and Kevin Allridge.
