Born on January 20, 1958, in Blackfoot, Idaho, she was the daughter of Vandis Richard Murdock and True Vilate Price. She graduated from Blackfoot High School and later attended Rick’s College after the Teton Flood.
Della served well as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Houston Mission from 1980-1981. While there, she met the love of her life Duane Aaron Resare who was also serving as a missionary. When they returned home, they started dating and were married on August 28, 1982, in the Jordan River Temple. Della and Duane had six children and enjoyed spending time with them.
Della explored a wide range of interests, from gardening and cooking to faith and genealogy. Her curiosity knew no bounds, and she instilled that same love of learning in her children, fostering an environment of creativity and exploration. She furthered her education at Utah State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Child, and Human Development in 1988. Della’s unwavering faith and commitment extended beyond her family.
