Earl Marra, age 85, passed away on July 10th, 2024. Earl was born March 29th, 1939 in Price, Utah to Frank Marra and Nancy Fleetwood.

He graduated from Carbon High in 1957 and later attended Carbon College and Utah State University. After graduation, he married Carol Oliveto and was employed by the Carbon School District for 28 years as the Head of Buildings and Grounds.

A lot can be said about Earl’s life, but what stands out above all was his dedication to his family. From vacations to fishing trips, Earl could be found surrounded by the ones he loved, grinning from ear to ear. If he wasn’t with his family, he enjoyed the company of his many canine companions. Dogs were drawn to Earl, and he could often be seen going out of his way to greet any four-legged friend within reach. Despite his stoic demeanor, Earl had a truly kind and genuine heart, doing his best to make those around him feel loved. He will be missed deeply.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Steve) Oviatt, Machele (Shane) Lemon, and grandson, Nickolas (Teren) Oviatt. Per Earl’s request, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, he requested donations to the charity of your choice.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carrol; parents, Frank and Nancy Marra; in-laws, Ross and Annie Oliveto; and sister-in-law, Merlene Skoglund.
