Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, Gary Willard Pierce, 71, passed away August 8, 2024 at Pinnacle Care & Rehabilitation Center in Price.

Gary was born February 28, 1953 in Dragerton, Utah to James Willard and Lavern Rowley Pierce.  On September 20, 1974, he married his eternal sweetheart, Larraine Clerece Lewis in the Salt Lake Temple.  Gary and Larraine were longtime residents of Huntington where they raised their sons, Shawn and Scott.  Larraine preceded Gary in death on February 15, 2023.

Gary is survived by his sons, Shawn (Aleasa) Pierce, Scott (Ashlie) Pierce, both of Huntington; six grandchildren, Colter (Kymaia), Lyle, Macey (Nick), Aiden, Mikayla and Breckin; great-grandson, Zayden; brothers, Brent (Valarie) Pierce, Kevin (Melanie) Pierce, both of Huntington; mother-in-law, Shannah Lewis, Salt Lake City; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends and acquaintances.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Larraine Pierce; parents, Jim and Lavern Pierce; and his father-in-law, Charles Lewis.

Funeral service, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Huntington Stake Center.  Family will receive friends at the church Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to service.  Burial will be in the Huntington City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Huntington and Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
