Joby “PaPaw” Hansen, also known as the most stubborn man to walk this Earth, was born August 19th, 1968 in Price, Utah to the late Brenda Tucker and Loury Hansen, later he had the pleasure to be raised by Bill “Pops” Tucker. Joby attended Emery High School and graduated in 1986, he later attended CEU and graduated in 1998. On August 8, 2024, Joby took his last breath with his Soulmate, Cassie Jo, by his side.
Joby had the honor to serve four years in the U.S. Army and served in the Gulf War, with his friend/ Sergeant Airhart by his side; he also served two years in the Utah National Guard. “PaPaw” loved his “Littles”, and enjoyed every chance he got with them. Joby loved the outdoors; you’d always catch him riding down the desert roads of the San Rafael Swell with his soulmate by his side, and a dog in the back of his pickup. The Raiders were his favorite NFL team, and he loved blaring his outlaw country.
Joby’s greatest accomplishments were his four amazing sons; Jerald, Chance, William “Billy” and Tucker. Every story you hear is about how he enjoyed raising them, and being able to watch all their milestones. On September 28th, 2012, when he and Cassie Jo married, he gained three daughters; Teaira, Ashtin and Keely.
