The 2024 season is not starting the way the Lady Spartans wanted. With an opening season loss to Millard and then a hard-fought loss to South Summit, they welcomed in the Canyon View Falcons. The Falcons had a huge first half and then kept it up in the second half handing Emery the 10-0 loss.

Canyon View came out in the first half putting seven goals on the board while holding Emery scoreless. The second half was more of the same as the Falcons added three more goals and finished out the contest shutting out the Lady Spartans.

The Spartans start the season with three straight losses, but the season is young and there is still a lot of soccer to be played. They have games with Delta, Manti, North Sanpete, and Juab to end the month of August, with three of those games at home.

Up first is a home game against Delta on Tuesday.
