It was an action-packed day for the Emery County Business Chamber on Saturday, Aug. 17, when two businesses celebrated new beginnings with ribbon-cutting ceremonies and celebrations welcoming them to their new locations and congratulating new owners. Those businesses were Cup of Joes in Orangeville and Ever Ours Floral in Huntington.
The first was Cup of Joes, which was celebrating a new location at 555 N Main Street in Orangeville, as well as a new owner. Recently purchased from Doug and Camie Stilson, Shanna Magnuson moved Cup of Joes to a new location, which features a drive-up window for easier and more convenient access. Other changes to the business include an outdoor seating area for coffee and conversations. Future plans for the business include additions of a shower and laundry building, as well as a lounge for those exploring the Swell.
Cup of Joes is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday as well as on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cup of Joes can be reached by phone at (435) 748-2989. The shop can also be found on Facebook here.
The other business celebrating a new beginning was Ever Ours Floral, located in Huntington at 625 North 400 East. Nichole Larsen, the new owner of the florist, purchased the shop which was formerly Nessas Floral Shop.
Ever Ours Floral Shop can create arrangements for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays, dances and any other time you might need flowers. This includes corsages and boutonnieres for high school dances and other arrangements when you need them most.
Ever Ours is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The store can be reached by phone as well at 435-687-2264. They can also be found on Facebook here.
Castle Country Radio would like to congratulate these businesses and wish them luck in their endeavors.
