The Lady Spartan soccer team is still in search of their first win of the season. On Thursday they traveled to Manti home of the Templars for the first of two meetings between the teams, the Templars came out in the first half scoring 10 goals and then added two more in the second half to hand Emery their fifth loss of the season 12-0.

Manti was one of the top teams in 3A last year finishing the season with the No. 3 spot in the final RPI.

Manti jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first half. Emery had no answers defensively or offensively for the Templars. In the second half, they would add a couple more goals and close out the contest 12-0.

Emery will get back on the field next week, with two region home matches. On Tuesday, they will face Juab, and then on Thursday, they welcome Richfield.

Both games will start at 4:00 p.m..
