After playing last weekend in St. George, the Lady Dino volleyball squad returned home to a region contest with North Sanpete. With the pre-season out of the way, Carbon jumped into the region portion of their schedule with the Hawks up first. Carbon came out taking a win in the opening set 25-16, but after that, it was all North Sanpete as they would take the next three sets to get the 3-1 win.

Carbon finished the weekend at the Dixie Flyer Tournamnent 3-3  with wins over Escalante, Cottonwood, and Waterford. The trip to St. George closed out the pre-season schedule for the Lady Dinos as they now jump into the Region 12 part of their schedule.

Carbon took the 25-16 win in the opening set. The Hawks came back taking the win from the Dinos in the next set 25-17. In set three, the Lady Dinos went back and forth with North Sanpete taking the 27-25 win. The fourth and final set went to the Hawks as they took the set 25-16 and the match 3-1.

The Lady Dinos return to the court Thursday when Juab comes to Price. Last season, Carbon defeated the Wasps in both region contests and then again at the State Championships.
