Pinnacle got back to the diamond on Wednesday when they welcomed Bryce Valley to Price. The Mustangs put six runs on the board in the first and kept pushing until they closed out the Panthers 13-1 in five innings.

The Panthers came up in the bottom of the first inning with the score 6-0 as Bryson Shumway stepped up to the plate sending a hard grounder to right field, and drove in Carlos Alcon.

Pinnacle couldn’t figure out the pitching of the Mustangs as they used four pitchers that allowed just two hits from the Panthers, Bryce Valley closed out the game in five innings 13-1.

Dominick Huitt collected one hit and Shumway earned one hit and an RBI in the loss.

Brody Howell started on the mound going 3.0 innings giving up 12 hits and nine earned runs. Joey Howell finished off the game going 2.0 innings surrendering four runs, three earned.

Pinnacle gets back on the mound and back on the road when they take on Valley.

On September 4, the Panthers welcome Panguitch to town. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m..
