Emery Spartan Golf was back on the course on Wednesday as they traveled to West Valley City and The Ridge Golf Course for the Region 12 match this week.  The state will be back at The Ridge in October for the Championships,  so it’s always good to play a course you will see again. Emery carded a 331 as a team to land in fifth place.

Richfield earned the top spot for the third consecutive week with a 297, and Juab finished in second scoring a 308. Carbon (314),  Delta (322) and Emery (331) rounded out the top five. Max Albrecht of Richfield had the low round of the day shooting a 70.

Dempsey Toomer and Champ Justice both had the low round for the Spartans shooting an 81. Alex Hansen’s 82, and Bronx Olsen’s 87 made up the scoring for Emery. Lincoln Perez, and Crew Behling both shot a 95, with Ethan Gibert (99), and Jacob Morris (120) also playing for the Spartans.

Next week on September 5, the region will descend on the Canyon Hill Golf Course, the home of the Juab Wasps.
