Carbon High School freshman Malia Smith has delivered a dynamic start to the 2024 campaign, finding the back of the net 16 times in just seven games. Her standout performances against Canyon View and Juab have earned her the Eastern Utah Community Credit Union’s Athlete of the Week honors. This past week, she added to her season total by scoring three goals against Delta and one more in Thursday’s win over Richfield.
