Emery girl’s soccer dropped to 0-7 on Thursday when the Juab Wasps came to town. Playing even in the first half the Wasps added a pair of goals in the second half to hand The Lady Spartans the 3-1 loss.

Emery’s season has not turned out the way they had hoped. The loss to Juab moves the Lady Spartans to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in Region 12.

Juab and Emery were able to get on the board in the first half with the score being tied at the end of one, 1-1.

Juab came out and put up a pair of goals in the second half to hand Emery the 3-1 loss.

The initial RPI for the soccer season will be released Saturday morning, ranking all teams in 3A. The rankings will be updated throughout the season until the last day when they will release the final numbers used for seeding in the State Championships.

Emery will get back to the field on Tuesday when they travel to Richfield, then on Wednesday, the Grand County Red Devils will come to Castle Dale.
