The Emery Spartan cross-country team traveled to Orem on Friday to take part in the Timpanogos Invitational. Broken into two sessions, a morning and an evening session, the Spartans took to the course at 4:00 p.m., out of 22 schools in the boy’s division Emery finished in 19th. The Lady Spartans ended the day in seventh place out of 18 schools.

For the Lady Spartans, Addy Guymon finished third overall with a time of 18:42.6. Gentry Christiansen (5), Addie Hurst (21), Alivia Daley (70), and Hannah Farley (103) completed the top five for Emery.

On the boy’s side, Dillan Larsen was the top finisher for Emery in 43rd. Benjamin Farley (119), Jacob Ericson (124), Jaden Jensen (125), and Hayden Christiansen (129) rounded out the top five.

The Spartans will get back on the course on Thursday when they travel to Nephi for the Juab Invitational.
