Patsy Len Christiansen was born on March 22, 1951 to QueDell and Dorothy Christensen Tucker in Mount Pleasant, Utah. She passed away in her home on September 2, 2024.
Patsy graduated from Carbon High School in 1969. That same year she met the love of her life, Vincent Lee Christiansen. Vince and Patsy were married June 19, 1971 in Price, Utah and were later sealed in the Provo Utah Temple with their four children on October 15,1983.
Patsy always knew she wanted to be a mother, and that’s just what she did. In addition to her four children she lovingly raised, she was a mother to many. The children she tended in her home, the neighborhood kids, the many nieces, and nephews who called her Aunt Pat, the primary children she taught and her grandchildren were all deeply loved and cared for by Patsy.
She was a loyal friend. She loved those around her deeply and sincerely cared about what was happening in their lives. She served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in both the Primary and Relief Society. In her 24 years of working at Sudsy Duds, caring for the laundry for the local hospital, she also developed many friendships.
Nothing mattered more to Patsy than her family. She made special effort to gather her family for Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays. Patsy loved every opportunity she had to gather with her parents, sisters, and brother and their families. She often spoke fondly of time spent with her cousins.
Patsy is survived by her husband Vincent Lee Christiansen of Price; four children, Layna and Ryan Baker of Orangeville, Dustin and Melanie Christiansen of Clearfield, Rebeca and Tom King of Price, and Vince Christiansen of Price; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Tucker; sisters and brother, and bonus son, Steven Laude and family.
Patsy is preceded in death by her father, QueDell Tucker.
