On the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 4, deputies from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call involving a stabbing that had taken place on a Carbon School District bus.

Upon arriving at the scene, the deputies found one minor who had sustained a minor puncture wound to the hand. Deputies also were able to apprehend the alleged suspect, also a minor, and take them into custody. At the time of writing, charges are pending.

Law enforcement officers were able to recover the object used in the stabbing. The victim was assessed by EMS services before being released to a parent.
