Wednesday night was a busy night for Pinnacle Panther sports, the baseball squad welcomed Panguitch to town and the Lady Panthers volleyball team hosted the Rockwell Marshals to their gym. The Marshals fought through a tough opening set but would close out Pinnacle in the next two as well, taking the 3-0 win over the Panthers.
The Lady Panthers put up a fight in set one but Rockwell took the 25-23 win. In set two, Rockwell started to put some distance between them and Pinnacle taking a 25-12 win. The Marshals would close things out in what would be the third and final set by the score of 25-14.
Jazmyne Mullis earned three digs in the match to go with a block and a service ace. Heather Kerr had a pair of aces as well as a block and a dig and Luz Ruelas collected four digs in the loss.
The Lady Panthers will take on Whitehorse on Friday in the gym at Pinnacle.
Game time is set for 3:15 p.m.
