
Pinnacle Panther cross-country hosted the Stewart Foster Invitational at Huntington State Park on Monday. Schools from 1A and 2A took part in the meet, as the Pinnacle girls finished in fourth and the boys team in fifth.
Monticello took the top spot in the girl’s division with Whitehorse landing in second. Merit Prep and Pinnacle made up the remainder of the field.
Heather Kerr was the top finisher for the Lady Panthers taking 20th place. Kaydance Romero (21), Luz Ruelas (22), Aleece Ricketts (23), and Kyleigh Pitts (24) were the other top finishers.
In the boy’s division, it was Monticello taking first followed by Wayne in second. Whitehorse, Merit Prep, and Pinnacle rounded out the top five.
Aleihs Hayes was the top finisher for the Panthers in 12th place. Jackson Shiew (31), Riley Davis (33), David Yakovich (34), and Alonzo Graham (36) made up the top finishers for Pinnacle.
The Panthers will get back on the course on Wednesday, September 18 at the Carbon Invitational.
Races are set to start at 3:30 p.m.
