Carbon cross country traveled the Skyline Mountain Resort Golf Course for the North Sanpete Invitational. Eighteen schools competed in the boy’s division, and fifteen on the girl’s side as the Carbon boys grabbed fifth place and the Lady Dinos finished in sixth.
Maple Mountain earned the top finish in the boy’s division followed by Skyline in second. Grantsville, Mountain Ridge, and Carbon rounded out the top five.
Evan Criddle was the top finisher for the Dinos ending the day in 13th. Bradley Sweeney (24), Dallin Humes (33), Matthew Stromness (37), and Michael Webber (43) were the top finishers for Carbon.
American Fork came out on top of the girl’s division with Skyline landing in second. Mountain Ridge, Maple Mountain, and Emery made up the top five, the Lady Dinos were just on the outside in sixth.
Josie Yates finished in eighth for Carbon. Brettlee Kennedy (32), Allie Bryner (36), Kaylee Pitcher (43), and Alexa Jones (63) were the top five finishers for the Lady Dinos.
The Dinos will host the CArbon Invitational next Wednesday at the Carbon Country Club Golf Course.
