Lady Dino soccer welcomed in the North Sanpete Hawks Thursday. Carbon jumped out to a quick lead in the first half and then carried their momentum into the second to take the 8-0 win.

Carbon moves to 8-2 overall and 6-2 in Region 12 play and sits in the No. 4 spot in the latest RPI.

The Lady Dinos found the back of the net four times in the first half taking the 4-0 lead into the half. The second half was more of the same as Carbon poured it on even more with another four goals and pitched a shutout to claim the 8-0 win.

Bailey Johnson scored three goals and collected two assists for Carbon. Malia Smith scored three goals and had an assist. Chrissy Jones had a pair of goals and an assist and Hannah Norton added one assist in the victory.

Carbon returns to the field on Tuesday, September 17 when Canyon View (8-2, 7-0, No. 2 in the RPI) comes to town. Early in the season, the two teams faced off in Cedar City, and the Falcons took the 5-3 win.
