Region 12 golf descended upon the Sunset View Golf Course in Delta on Thursday.  Coming off their best performance of the season last week at Juab, Carbon finished the day with a 328 landing them in fourth place.

At the Canyon Hills Golf Course last week Carbon, led by Rydge Butler’s 68,  carded a match-low 295 to land in first place.

Richfield topped the region at Sunset View with a 307 followed by host team Delta and their 318 in second. Juab (319), Carbon (328), and Emery (342) rounded out the top five.

Dayton King had the low score of the field with a 72, Levi King shot an 82, Butler had an 84, and Cash Withers finished the day with a 90.

There are four matches left in the regular season starting next week when they will travel to Cedar City and the Cedar Ridge Golf Course, there are also events scheduled at Millsite (Emery), Cove View (Richfield), and Palisades Golf Course (Manti) before the season will close out with the 3A State Championships at The Ridges on October 16 & 17.
