Region 12 golf traveled to Cedar City on Wednesday to take on the Cedar Ridge Golf Course, home of the Canyon View Falcons. Richfield continued their dominant season taking the top spot once again, the Spartans finished the day in fifth.

The Wildcats ended the day with a 299, which seems to be their season average. Juab finished second with a 311, and Carbon was just one stroke back at 312 taking third. Delta (323)  and Emery (335) rounded out the top five.

Dempsey Toomer had the low round for the Spartans with a 78, this marks the fourth week in a row that Toomer has had or tied for the lowest score for Emery. Champ Justice shot an 82. Bronx Olsen had an 87 and Brendon Behunin had an 88 to round out the scoring for Emery.

Next week the Spartans welcome the region to their home course, Millsite, one of the more challenging courses in conference play.

After Millsite, there are only two matches left,  at Richfield on October 2, and then the regular season wraps up on October 8 at Palisade State Park Golf Course, the home of the Manti Templars, on October 8.
