On Thursday, Carbon soccer was in Nephi to take on the Juab Wasps (4-9 overall, 3-6 in the region, No. 13 in the RPI). The Lady Dinos took a 4-0 advantage into halftime and added a couple more in the second to earn a 6-2 win to move their overall record to 9-3.

Along with their overall record, Carbon holds a 7-3 region mark, they also sit at No. 4 in the latest RPI.

In the contest with Juab, Carbon came out the aggressor finding the back of the net four times in the first half to hold a 4-0 lead at halftime. The Lady Dinos added two more in the second half and the Wasps had a pair of their own, but Carbon held on for the 6-2 win.

Mailia Smith had another hat trick bringing her total for the season to 27. Blythe Bradford and Amalie Teigen each had one goal. Bailey Johnson had a goal and a pair of assists, Chrissy Jones had a pair of assists and Lydia Lancaster added one in the Carbon win.

Carbon will return to it on Tuesday when they welcome the Delta Rabbits (6-8, 4-6, No. 11) to Price. Back on August 27 the Lady Dinos traveled to Delts and returned home with the 8-1 win.
