Diego Francisco Lopez, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024, surrounded by family. He is now reunited with his Jano, the love of his life.

Frank was born on February 5, 1950, in Price, Utah, the son of Jesus F. Lopez and Mary Gonzales.

He married Jan Worley, in Price, Utah on June 23, 1973. Jan passed away March 4, 2016.

Frank, a retired coal miner, enjoyed fly fishing, hunting and took great pride in maintaining his beautiful yard. He loved spending time at Farlaino’s, his home away from home, making his own coffee and shootin’ the shit with his friends, who were more like family to him. He was incredibly generous to anyone he met and was the best son, husband, brother and Uncle Frank. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by sisters, Lydia Burrola, Mary Zilliox, Toni Jarvi and Mag McFadden; brothers, Steve Lopez, Victor Lopez and Mario Lopez; brother-in-law, Guy Worley; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his beloved, Jan Lopez; parents, Jesus F. and Mary G. Lopez; grandparents, Pedro and Guadalupe De La Cruz Gonzales; sisters, Rosario Lopez, Elvira Lopez and Carol Stevenson; brothers, Joe P. Lopez and Alexander P. Lopez; parents-in-law, Fred and Enda Worley; sister-in-law, Lana Worley; brother-in-law, Neil Worley.

Frank’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial graveside service will take place on September 27, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at the Wellington City Cemetery.
