The Lady Spartans traveled to Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday to take on the North Sanpete Hawks, back in August the Hawks got the 5-1 win in Castle Dale. On Tuesday, the Lady Spartans had their biggest offensive output of the season scoring five goals, but the Hawks earned the 7-5 win.

Emery slips to 0-14 overall and 0-11 and stays at the No. 17 in the latest RPI. North Sanpete climbs to 5-8, and 4-7 in region play and holds the No. 12.

Both teams came out firing in the first half with both teams scoring three goals each to go into halftime tied at three each.

In the second half, the Lady Spartans found the back of the net two more times and North Sanpete scored four more to take the 7-5 win.

Illyria Mason scored the hat trick with three goals and collected an assist in the win, and Megan Stilson added two and a pair of assists in the loss for Emery. Avey Beagley and Molly Christiansen each had an assist.

Thursday, the Spartans travel to Nephi to take on the Juab Wasps (4-10, 3-7, and No. 13). On August 29 the Wasps were in Castle Dale and earned a 3-1 win over the Spartans.
